  11. SCREAMER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND KEY COMMANDS
  12.  
  13. 1.  You must run SETUP.EXE before playing Screamer for the first time.
  14. 2.  Follow the prompts to set up your sound card and key configuration.
  15. 3.  To run the Screamer demo, type SCREAMER and press the <ENTER> key.
  16.  
  17. KEY             FUNCTION
  18. ---             --------
  19. F1              full screen in car view
  20. F2              half screen in car view with dashboard 
  21. F3              3/4 behind and slightly above car view 
  22. F4              same as F3, but further behind
  23. M               toggle map views
  24. <ESC>           exits menus and exits replay 
  25. <SPACEBAR>      starts game from "attract mode"
  26.  
  27. Default Controls In Setup.exe (These are configurable) 
  28. Gas         - Up arrow
  29. Brake       - Down arrow
  30. Steer Left  - Left arrow
  31. Steer Right - Right arrow
  32.  
  33. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
  34. 486 DX2/66 with 8Mb RAM
  35. MS-DOS v5.0 or higher
  36.  
  37. NOTE:
  38. -----
  39. Windows 95 users must reboot to DOS mode.
  40.  
  41. If you only have 8Mb RAM you MUST remove SMARTDRV from memory!  You can
  42. make a boot disk if you do not know how to stop SMARTDRV from loading.
  43. To make a boot disk, put a blank disk in the A: drive and from the DOS
  44. prompt type:

  46. FORMAT A: /S
  47.  
  48. This will completely erase what's on your floppy, but will create a 
  49. boot disk for you.  Reboot with the floppy disk IN the A: drive.
